I lived here during my second year and it was a great expericne. The landlords are so helpful, attentive and always there when needed. I felt very safe, the house was clean, modern and had all the necessities. Thank you Andrew 🙏

Andy was my landlord when I rented a beautifully part-furnished 1-bed flat for about 18 months, and he comes highly recommended! I happily would have stayed, had I not moved in with my partner.

I lived in one of Andy’s properties for 6 years and had a great experience throughout. The property was well maintained, and any maintenance issues that came up were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

From the very beginning, he has been approachable, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy and comfortable in the property. Andy was our landlord for 12 months and we never had any issues in regards to communication and assistance from him. Any issues we had during our tenancy (minor things) were dealt with promptly and efficiently by Andy. At the end of our tenancy our deposit was returned to us quickly without any issues! I had an amazing experience with my landlord Richard last year! His communication was fantastic and we always found it easy to get in contact to ask questions or address any concerns. Anytime we had any maintenance issues they were sorted quickly and often with replacements. Richard also went above and beyond to make sure the house was well maintained throughout the year, including putting in all new furniture and completely re-painting! I would absolutely recommend one of Richard’s properties to any students looking to rent. I had a great experience and would definitely choose Unipads again!

I lived in a Unipads house with 6 housemates for the past year. The house was in very good condition and we were impressed by the spacious kitchen, which was a great hosting space. Our landlord Richard was helpful and dealt with any maintenance issues quickly. Overall I would strongly recommend Unipads to other students looking to rent in Selly Oak.

Very good student lets. I was in a property with Richard as my landlord. The house was in excellent condition and any problems we had e.g. with broken lightbulbs were fixed promptly- often on the same day they were reported. Washing machine was also replaced when needed extremely quickly and without much hassle and at no cost to us as residents. Very much recommended for selly oak student houses

My landlord Andy has been so easy to deal with from start to finish, any maintenenance issues I’ve come across in the apartment over my time living here, all I had to do was notify him and someone was round to fix it in an instant!
Couldn’t recommend them enough, they are wonderful apartments, well looked after, safe and secure but most importantly for me, was the human nature behind this company, everything felt it was done for the right reasons, in the right way, by the right people.

Myself and my husband rented an apartment from Andy. From first viewing to filling out the application forms to moving in ran so smoothly. Any maintenance we needed which wasn't often because apartment was immaculate , maintenance guy George was out within 24 hours. Andy is a genuine, friendly landlord. He's made our stay a lot easier knowing we can contact whenever needed and he would respond immediately. Such an incredible landlord and would recommend anyone to have his properties

By far the best letting agent we've used at Uni. Leigh, our property manager, was quick to respond and fix any issues, communicative, and very fair. Deposits were returned quickly, and the house was well maintained. It was probably the easiest year we've had in terms of dealing with landlords & I am so grateful to Leigh (and George) for taking such care of the property.

In my second year I stayed in 239 Hubert Road. It was a lovely, very well maintained house with a great Landlord- Andy always responded quickly and resolved all issues. Unlike other Selly Landlords Andy truly cares about the quality of his houses and wellbeing of his tenants. Maintenance man George was also always very cheerful, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend using Unipads over other Selly Oak Landlords.

Newton Grove is what I would call home. Our house has a cosy interior and a nice kitchen space with a skylight which overlooks the trees. Me and my housemates all fell in love with our student accommodation and we loved it so much. Our landlord is kind and always willing to communicate if needed. Our agency is also good- any problems, the maintenance will come the very next day. Although our house was a bit old, and a lot of the materials needed to be replaced, the landlord was kind enough to replace some bedding, study tables, etc.
I definitely would recommend Richard from UniPads as your landlord.

Really comfortable and nice flat thanks to double glazing and high standards in fit out. Quick responses from the landlords for any issues. Maintenance is regular, professional and even minor problems are fixed thanks to asking me about any issues whenever maintenance is due on neighbouring properties. I have been very happy with the property and would happily continue living here until I can buy.

We lived at 93 Poole Crescent and it was a great house to spend the year in. Andy is a great landlord who always responds to messages quickly and gets issues sorted as soon as possible, often through the maintenance man George who is very efficient. Through the contact we had with Andy we could tell that he was trustworthy and reliable, and cared about the house and making our experience living there as seamless as possible which we really appreciated. We enjoyed our year in this house and would recommend both the house and the landlord to anyone looking for somewhere to live!

13 Elliot Villlas was a great house. Very modern, spacious with a lovely garden! All rooms were a decent size with all en-suites which is so ideal. Parking was also included which is perfect!!! The landlord was very approachable and quick with response to any concerns! Highly recommend Unipads and Elliot villas.

Andy has been our land lord for the previous years and has always been extremely fast at replying to any issues we have with the house (which are very few and easily solved) and will send out someone to help us with any issues if we need. we are in 7 Newton Hrove which is a lovely and modern house in a perfect area within selly oak, especially for students as it is within very close proximity to the university, aldi and a 2 minute walk from the station.

We have lived in our flat on Mary Vale Road coming up on 4 years now, although we aren't students, Andrew accepted us as tenants and even let our little dog live with us too! he's a very fair landlord who not only goes above & beyond to make sure the flats are kept well maintained but also makes sure his tenants welfare is the top of his priority list, we love living here, parking could be better but that aside, these flats on Mary Vale are perfect for students, all the students we have seen come and go over the years have been very friendly, polite & respectful, you won't regret living in 1 of these properties, be it house or flat you can guarantee it will be an amazing place to live, temporarily or permanently!

I had a generally pretty good experience with Andy as a landlord at 191 Hubert Road. He was easy to contact and responded quickly to problems. However in most cases he sends a handyman called George who is a fan of putting things into the house's wheelie bin which are not allowed to go there. I'm hopeful that he might have learned after this year to stop doing that but nonetheless it prevents me from giving a full 5 stars as it was an easily preventable inconvenience which occurred twice. I'd still recommend Andy as a landlord, with this caveat.

I have had Andy as my landlord for both of my years in Birmingham student housing and it was entirely positive! Before university I was warned about landlords being difficult and unreliable, but I couldn’t have had a better experience. He is completely reliable, extremely quick to reply to any messages / queries and sorts out any issues so efficiently. He is completely trustworthy and generous! My living experience was so smooth and easy in my second year of university because of having Andy as my landlord, so much so that we chose our final year housing based on him. Andy was my landlord in second year and was literally so perfect that we chose to stay with Unipads for final year as well! Any problems that we had no matter how big or small, Andy would reply so quickly and get it sorted. The most reliable landlord I’ve ever met so I really couldn’t recommend enough. The property was 91 Teignmouth Road, and the house itself was lovely with a large social space and bright bedrooms.

I could not recommend a better landlord than Andy. I stayed in two of his properties during my time at UOB (102 Dawlish Road & 91 Teignmouth Road) and had no complaints at all! All issues were sorted within 24 hours and his maintenance man, George, was always so helpful! Our deposits were returned in full after each tenancy and overall we had such a positive renting experience in Selly Oak (which is rare!!). Thanks so much, Andy!

You could walk into a 100 different houses and instantly know which ones belong to Andy. You couldn't meet a nicer man. He genuinely cares, which is why year after year I've continued to clean for him. It's a pleasure to work for Andy and clean his property's as each property is chic, modern and beautifully presented.

Richard was our landlord and was lovely. Maintenance was always done super quick and in general he was a lovely person who cared about his tenants. The house was beautiful and built and refurbished to a high standard. Richard knew his property inside and out, which is one of the main reasons we went with him as he was very knowledge about the fittings and fixtures. I would highly recommend.

I couldn’t recommend Andy and Unipads enough! I lived on Dawlish Road last year in a Unipads property, which had lovely modern decor and great facilities. Also, if we had any issues e.g. something breaking, Andy would reply instantly and would get it fixed asap. They’re really easy to communicate with and fast repliers, as the landlords themselves own the Agency (so you don’t have to contact landlords through third parties). They’re also really friendly and lovely! Andy even employed a group of us last year to take prospective tenants on tours of Unipads houses, which was a great and convenient part-time job.

I rented a flat at the Old Schoolrooms in Burton on Trent and was very happy with the presentation, quality and good value of the accomodation. I always received excellent communication/ service from the landlords. They were always accessible and dealt with issues quickly, efficiently and without fuss.
I only terminated my tenancy because of a need to be closer to my elderly parents but would not hesitate to return in the future.
